An extremely high workload of background checking
Going into 2024 the Crewlink vetting team were working at maximum capacity. The internal vetting team at Crewlink work to the highest standards, meaning with the large volume of checks needing completion, staff were under pressure to meet deadlines. Group Manager Elaine Duffy, knew automation of screening processes was essential to retaining not only their high standards, but also the team of vetting experts within Crewlink.

Crewlink conduct over 3500 employee reference checks a year with their team of 20 vetting experts who take the responsibility of their jobs very seriously.
At the end of the day, our team is responsible for saying if someone is safe or not to be entering very restricted and secure area and they don’t take that lightly. At the beginning 2024 they were all close to maximum capacity and we knew the business was at a point where it needed to do something strategic to support the team to get ahead.
